What's your name?

What is in a name?

Do parents sometimes think about it before they name their child?

One can say that some parents do. Others I am not certain.

I believe I have a very unique name. I love my name for that matter. I try to digress from common names just because I feel like, no offense to anyone with common names, is that you become associated with “you like a Jessica or so forth.” Also, in a lot of ways I feel like many people loose or have to adapt to what a “Jessica, or an Elizabeth” are expected to be. As when you have a more unique name you are able to build your own persona and even you own sense of being. However, I am not stating that people that have common names do not have their own persona or even have a sense of being I am just saying that at times it is camouflages with their own identity.

However, we are all born with a unique DNA even if you are a twin (you have similarities but you do not have identical genes). So if you are a person that posses a common name, don’t worry, just because you have a common name you will ALWAYS have a unique DNA!
