If you live in New York City you know that when you walk to the train station there are FREE newspapers distributed every morning. Depending where you live you will either have AMNY Free Newspaper or the METRO US and if you are lucky you will have a copy of both.
So a few days ago I had my head phones on and I was blasting music while I walked to the train station. I wasn't really in the mood to read the newspaper that day so I was kind of glad that there wasn't anyone giving out the newspaper. As, I got on the train I sat down and read my book,I forgot which book at the moment, then to my surprise when I got off at my stop to go to work there was one of the METRO US employees giving out the newspapers. Anyway, I took a copy of that days newspaper. As I read the paper I came across an interesting column: 3 Colors to Boost your mood It was on the METRO US on Wednesday, February 3rd,2010. You can look for the article yourself on their website which is www.metro.us.
I was not having a good morning. So my mood was not at its best.
So, according to the article the 3 colors in which are considered to be MOOD BOOSTERS are:
1. Turquoise
--> It's supposed to boost your immune system ( Imagine that!- just by wearing Turquoise)
2. Violet Blue
--> It's supposed to calm your nervous system ( Good to know... I always thought of Lavender or Lilac but I believe it is close enough)
3. Yellow:
--> It states that it radiates heat and warmth. It's supposed to help us process our thoughts and helps fight off doubt and confusion. ( I guess I will be wearing yellow when I take an exam. =D)
I thought that mini article was interesting. What were your thoughts on it?
I finished the third book, The Titan's Curse, on the Percy and the Olympians Series. I have to purchase the fourth book. I am excited to see what happens next.
By the way do any of you know any good series/ book ??--- You can say I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge. Better yet for books. =D
